Ron Hilvert is a distinguished human resources executive with over five decades of experience in the global hospitality industry. He began his career as a bellboy at the Schwarzer Bock Hotel in Wiesbaden, Germany, and went on to hold the Worldwide Corporate HR Officer position with Hyatt International, Hilton International, Jumeirah, and Amaala.

He was also the opening General Manager of the Hyatt Regency Birmingham in the UK and has been involved in the openings of over 50 hotels around the world. As the Founder and Managing Director of the Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management (EAHM), he played a key role in establishing one of the region’s most highly regarded institutions for hospitality education.

A graduate of the world-renowned École hôtelière de Lausanne, Ron is fluent in French, Spanish, and English. Now based in the Philippines, he brings many decades of experience in recruiting colleagues for hotels worldwide, with particular expertise in the GCC countries.
