Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join our multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to patients with mental health conditions, ensuring their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
Responsibilities:
Conducting initial patient assessments and developing individualized care plans
Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
Monitoring patients’ progress and adjusting care plans accordingly
Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care
Providing counseling, support, and education to patients and their families
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
Following hospital policies and procedures to ensure patient safety
Participating in training and professional development activities
Requirements:
Valid and current registration as a Mental Health Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
Successful completion of the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with a minimum overall score of 7.0, or equivalent
Completion of the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) training
Hold an NMC decision letter
Not being from a red list country (as per current travel and immigration regulations)
Previous experience in a mental health setting is essential
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
