Assistant Management Accountant

Our Client, a leading parking technology company is looking for an Assistant Management Accountant.

Reports to: Finance Manager

PURPOSE

Join our Client’s dynamic finance team as an Assistant Management Accountant, where you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of their finance department. You’ll support various profit and loss (P&L) and balance sheet tasks, contributing to the financial health and success of the organisation.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Conduct month-end P&L analysis and balance sheet reconciliations, covering areas such as bank, holiday pay, fleet, rent, rates, and management charges.
  • Manage client reconciliations for parking charge and pay-and-display revenue, addressing client queries promptly and effectively.
  • Oversee monthly self-billing processes, liaising with clients and ensuring accurate reconciliation of self-billing accounts.
  • Assist in information gathering for reporting and audit purposes, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Undertake ad hoc tasks as requested by the Finance Lead, contributing flexibly to team objectives.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Qualifications

  • GCSE Mathematics and English or equivalent practical experience.
  • Currently part-qualified or in the early stages of an accounting qualification.

  • Familiarity with accounting software for efficient task management.
